St. Christopher's started out as a mission in 1950. Meetings were held in the hospitality room of the Coka Cola plant at Geo. Washington Blvd. and Harry St.
When it was decided to expand and incorporate as a parish, a small building was built at 2231 S. Bluff St. in 1954.
As the congregration grew, in 1962 plans were made for a larger building. Built in 1963 our current parish building located at 2211 S. Bluff. Where we now worship God.
